Gingerbread Protein Donuts

Ingredients
½ Cup Plain Greek yogurt
1 Scoop (1/4 cup) Vanilla protein powder (We love Isagenix IsaPro)
3 Tbsp unsweetened apple sauce
1 Egg
2 Tbsp Coconut flour
1 Tbsp Coconut oil (melted)
1 Tbsp Molasses
½ tsp Vanilla
½ tsp ground ginger
½ tsp ground cinnamon
¼ tsp ground cloves
½ tsp baking powder
pinch of salt
For icing
3 Tbps Cream cheese
1 Tbsp unsweetened almond milk
1 Tbsp Vanilla protein powder
½ tsp sprinkles (optional)
Directions
Pre heat oven to 350 degrees
1. In a small bowl, mix all ingredients (except icing ingredients)
2. Lightly spray a donut pan with non stick spray and spoon batter into donut molds
3. Place in oven and bake approx. 12 min. Donuts should still feel a bit soft, they will firm up as they cool
4. Allow donuts to cool, then remove from pan
5. Mix cream cheese, almond milk, and protein powder, then spread on donuts
6. Sprinkle with sprinkles, if desired
Store in airtight container in fridge or freezer
